Our Manifesto challenges the Mayor to build a more family friendly London, and a better future for children in the capital.
The Mayor must address:
- a serious shortage of family friendly jobs,
- diffculties finding affordable quality childcare,
- poor knowledge about the help that is available, and
- our city’s high housing costs.
Families in poverty are at the sharp end of these problems – but they have impacts for all families in London.
Addressing these challenges will deliver not only tangible improvements to families’ lives, but real economic benefits for London.
